VV ATCX™ Simulator Features

Introduction

The VV ATCX™ Simulator is a medium-fidelity ATC radar simulator. It has the capability of accurately simulating air traffic for any airport or airspace in the world. Both Terminal Area (Tracon or Approach Control) and Enroute (Area or Centre Control) sectors are supported.

The initial release is the Basic pack containing instructional materials on Radar Vectoring and Control plus four platforms, MazeX™, NexusX™, GridX™ and DiamondX™, each with its own traffic scenarios. As and add-on, a Hong Kong Approach package is also available. This contains training in sequencing and Terminal Area Radar Control and many hours of challenging traffic scenarios.
