ATCX™ Basic Pack

The scenarios in the VV ATCX™ Basic pack present some challenges in separation and sequencing.

In the MazeX™ and NexusX™, you must keep aircraft within the maze and separated from each other. In the DiamondX™, you must sequence aircraft in a precise trail through each of the four corners, while maintaining separation. Finally, in the GridX™, you must separate some complex crossing traffic without the use of vertical separation.

Real Sectors

VV ATCX™ Hong Kong Approach is provided with arrivals and departures on both main runways, with full explanation of specific procedures. The challenge is to run a tight sequence while separating with other flights out of Hong Kong and overflying to China.

The Sydney Arrivals module, complete with a Flow Management system is coming soon. More sectors are in develoment and will be released in 2010.

Training Material

A full explanation is provided of procedures used at each supported sector, as well as general ATC concepts. These consist of DVD- and Flash-style moving demonstrations that will quickly communicate techniques to be used in simulation.
