  • Regional Language Variants

Due to conflicts in the speech recognition software, VV ATCX™ may not function on some versions of Windows, such as Dutch, French, German and Italian language versions. Note that third-party software may be available to make English useable on these machines.

Considerations in the choice of computer monitor:

The software is designed for XGA (1024x768), and that is the ideal screen resolution for this program. However, most computers produced in recent years have Widescreen displays, which have WXGA (typically 1280x800) resolution. They are useable, with the slight disadvantage that the RADAR map will be smaller, due to the reduced vertical dimension of the screen. Some adjustment of display resolution may be required to obtain the correct aspect ratio (width x height) for viewing movies and training material.
